Day of Action with the LCDC Women's Caucus, Jess Branas, and Dr. Monica Taylor

It’s time for the women to unite and get the job done! Join me, the LCDC Women’s Caucus, and Chair of Delaware County Council, Dr. Monica Taylor, as we knock doors. We are also proud to use this launch to collect necessary items for I Support the Girls Lancaster! We are asking canvassers to bring necessary items as described below, to donate to the cause. Girls and women experiencing homelessness do not have access or cannot afford to replace old bras and often have to choose between buying a hot meal or paying for a box of menstrual hygiene products. By denying them their basic necessities, we are taking away their dignity and self-respect. I Support the Girls Lancaster collects new and gently used bras and sealed menstrual hygiene products, sorts them and then distributes them via local organizations which have been previously vetted. LCDC Women’s Caucus is proud to announce it will be partnering with I Support the Girls Lancaster to collect your new and gently used “over the shoulder boulder holders” (bras) and give back to our community. To donate, contact LCDC women’s caucus on Facebook or Instagram, drop off at SOMA at Park City Center, or mail directly to 1321 Newton Rd. Lancaster PA 17603.
