Hello Sarpy Democrats! We have about 80 polling locations in Sarpy County where we will be placing candidate signs for the Midterm Election. We need your help! Many hands will make light work of this. Please contact Christine at [email removed] or [phone removed] with your: 1) home address, 2) mobile phone, and 3) about how many sites you would like to place signs. Then Christine will assign you locations that are closest to your home area. If you prefer to go to any specific polling places that you are familiar with, please let me know that as well. You can find a list of Sarpy County polling locations here: https://www.sarpy.gov/689/Polling-Place-Information Volunteers will: - Pick up signs on the evening of Monday, November 2nd, between 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Vivere Apartments, 8216 City Centre Dr, La Vista, NE 68128.(If you need any later, please let me know.) - Place signs at polling places Monday evening or the morning of the Election on Tuesday, November 3rd, prior to 8:00 a.m. when the polls open. - Recover signs from polling places on Tuesday evening, prior to or around the close of the polls at 8:00 p.m. - Return signs at our next monthly meeting, Wednesday, November 18th, 6:30 - 7:00 p.m., at the Carpenter's Union Training Center in La Vista, or anytime to Christine. Signs should be placed, in accordance with Nebraska law, greater than 200 ft from the polling place to avoid electioneering, and avoiding private property. They should mark the distance with an orange cone. If not sure, you may see other signs and can place ours nearby.
