About
Working families are tired of paying more, getting less, and watching corporations put their profits ahead of our communities. Enough is enough. It's time to stand together and fight back against corporate greed! On Thursday, October 29, join Jane Kim, candidate for California Insurance Commissioner, alongside SEIU Local 2015, Black Los Angeles Young Democrats, Asian Democrats of LA County, the California Working Families Party, Korean American Democratic Committee, and Iranian-American Democrats of CA for a PEOPLE OVER PROFIT RALLY in Los Angeles! Thursday, October 29, 9:00–10:00 AM Korea Pavilion - 1000 Normandie Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90006 From skyrocketing insurance rates to disappearing coverage and delayed claims, Californians are paying the price while insurance companies rake in record profits. Jane Kim is running for California Insurance Commissioner to take on corporate greed and fight for what Californians deserve: lower costs, guaranteed coverage, and insurance that actually delivers when we need it most. With Election Day just around the corner, we're bringing together workers, caregivers, and community members to make our voices heard and demand an insurance system that puts people over profit. Jane is endorsed by U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, labor and civil rights leader Dolores Huerta, Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis, State Controller Malia Cohen, and more than 170 elected officials across California. Jane is proud to have the support of a powerful coalition of labor unions and progressive organizations fighting for working families across the state, including the California Labor Federation, SEIU California, California Nurses Association, California Teachers Association, and California Working Families Party.
