About
Please join us this Día de los Muertos to honor and remember the lives taken by ICE. We'll gather and grieve publicly for the people who have died in ICE custody and who have been killed by ICE agents. Drawing on the Día de los Muertos tradition of honoring loved ones, we will display photographs of those who died to honor them and keep their memory alive. This will be a peaceful, family-friendly event featuring readings, moments of reflection and song. Please join us and bring respectful signs! DAY: SUNDAY, November 1, 2026 TIME: 5:30 - 6:30pm LOCATION: LADY LIBERTY at ALKI BEACH in WEST SEATTLE. 2665 Alki Ave SW, Seattle This action is part of End the ICE Age, a national day of action happening in cities across the country October 31–November 2. We're demanding Congress get ICE out of our communities, redirect ICE funding, and shut down ICE detention centers for good. A core principle behind all Disappeared In America events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
