Anit-Trump Rally in Chillicothe

We’re getting organized for direct non-violent action. Join activists, organizers and protestors in Chillicothe to show I rump just how unwelcome he is. We imagine our local leaders will also be in attendance and they need our attention too. This administration believes that the majority of rural Ohio loves them and that's simply not true. We have a chance to show them. Location to be announced Doors open at 3:30pm Program begins at 5:30pm 7pm Remarks begin Folks are saying they may be driving up through E. Main St. Line up alongside the road and don't forget your signs or banners! Let's takeover the road and the rally. Let’s make them uncomfortable. Gemini Nails who are asking for folks to fill up their window and we have a comrade wanting folks to fill up her front yard on E. Main St. You can find more specific information on this in our facebook group. The actions are being actively planned and we need you. Are you going? Are you wanting to protest outside or are you wanting to go inside? We’ll be planning for both. Is non-violent disruption an action you will take? Let us know what you’re wanting to do and join us. We are planning a coordinated and precise action we’d love for you to be a part of. All precautions are being taken. Many will be gathering outside the venue (we believe it’ll be on campus because classes have been cancelled for that day). You can reserve up to 4 tickets (they are free) but we are told now that it is first come first serve. Find these tickets on the GOP events webpage. For our actions- We’re seeking for outside: Safety and security volunteers Folks to take pictures and record We’re seeking for inside: (minimum of 5 groups with 3-4 in each group) Disrupters Accomplices/Support partner Video recorders Safety and security If you are taking a disruptive action, know the risks ahead of time and do not do this standing alone. There are many of us here for you and will be there so reach out to us. We will talk about this in our upcoming meeting on Monday evening signal call and we have another meeting ahead of the event at a comrades home. For the address you must be in the action group on signal. Also if you are taking this action, we suggest not parking in the parking lot everyone will be parking in, find somewhere else and walk just for safety precautions and do not walk to your car after the event or leaving the event by yourself. There is always a possibility of arrests during non violent actions and we have a bail fund set up you can donate to along with help from another organization here in southern Ohio to help if things do ever take this route. This needs to top that immensely! This action will probably feel like forever but stand your ground and be patient. We need to be there the entire time. Meet those next to you, have conversations, plan more actions, show them your anger and let’s these “leaders” ALL OUT OF OFFICE. VOTE NOVEMBER 3RD!
