What's Next?

This a local Indivisible event! Sponsored by Nothridge Patriots Invisible. Now that the midterm is over, what happens next is critical! If the House and/or Senate will change hands In January, we need to deal with the lame duck session of Congress and then the seating and priorities of the new Congress. Democrats will need to pass legislation, to fulfill campaign promises, and they will need to investigate the lawlessness of the past 2 years. While the White House will have veto power over legislation and will be uncooperative with investigations. It is critical that Democrats lead on both legislation and investigation to end the abuse of power that has been the hallmark of this administration, for the past 2 years! *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
