Defend Democracy Demonstration

This a local Indivisible event! Join Mobilize Arcata for our Weekly Demonstration on the Plaza. The Trump regime violates the constitution and breaks countless laws on a daily basis. Our community has to stand up and demand accountability. Impeachment, Conviction, Removal. No less. This regime has to be stopped. We have to defeat the fascists! Our neighbors need our support. Our democratic leaders need to hear from us. Come out for solidarity and make your voices heard in defense of democracy. Especially now, the weeks following Election Day will be important to show our readiness to respond to attempts of election sabotage. We need to defend not only the vote count but also the vote certification and ultimately the seating of the next Congress: Our votes shall be heard! Every Saturday @ Noon next to the Jacoby's Storehouse. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
