About
A massive hyperscale data center slated for Springdale, PA, has been approved at the local level. But it still has to meet Allegheny County’s land development standards — and the developer's current application will not meet the requirements for the county’s subdivision and land development ordinance, or SALDO. If they plan to follow their own laws, Allegheny County officials should reject the data center application before any public hearing process begins! **Make your voice heard!** Join Food & Water Watch, your fellow Allegheny County neighbors, and allied organizations on October 28th for the Springdale Data Center Land Development Public Meeting! **Update! Rally at 5pm with speakers beginning at 5:30pm! Check the "How to Prepare" section of your confirmation email once you RSVP!** Once you sign up, we'll send you instructions on how to register for public comment during the meeting and talking points, as well as info on requesting accommodations. We'll also keep you in the loop with updates on this issue and future actions you can take. Your presence makes a difference. **When we show up together, we send a strong message: our future shouldn’t be decided by corporations looking for profit at our expense!**
