About

Join us as we tour the Learning Mile of the Future Salmonberry Trail! It's a great opportunity to get outdoors and connect with fellow nature lovers over the holiday weekend. Led by Kira Taylor, a Master Naturalist and Chair of the Flora and Fauna Committee of the Salmonberry Trail, and Matt Streng, of OutdoorRX, they will guide us through a slow paced nature walk, show casing all the beautiful species we can see in our own backyard of Washington County and how nature makes us happy AND healthy! This is an easy 1.8 mile hike perfect for the whole family! We will start out on NW Fisher Rd and Hwy 47 (the future Buxton Trailhead for the Salmonberry Trail) and hike to Williams Creek to hopefully see salmon spawning in the creek!
