About

Join the Westside Democratic HQ on Sunday Nov. 1 for a trip to Buena Park for the CALIFORNIA RISING RALLY featuring Gov. Gavin Newsom, gubernatorial candidate Xavier Becerra, Sen. Adam Schiff and more! The rally will be followed by a canvassing event to support the re-election of Congressman Derek Tran (CA-45). It's the last chance this weekend to talk to voters in a key California Congressional district and help take back the House in November. We'll meet at the WDHQ in Venice at 12:00 p.m. and then leave for Buena Park promptly at 12:30 p.m. We'll arrive in time to participate in the rally. Then we'll spend the day talking with voters in the Buena Park community, and return to the WDHQ in the evening. A brief training, clipboards, pens, snacks, and water will be provided. This is our last trip to District CA-45 to help the Tran campaign, so we hope you can join us! We need YOUR help to re-elect Rep. Tran and give him the House majority he needs to pass his legislation for working families, older adults, and ALL Americans. Winning this district is so important, and that's why so many leaders -- Newsom, Becerra, Schiff, Alex Padilla, and Rob Bonta -- are heading to Buena Park to stir up some excitement. As a volunteer, you'll be performing an important service on the WDHQ's ground team for priority Congressional campaigns. This is crucial work at a crucial time, and we would love to have you join us. Partner organizations for this event are the California Democratic Party (CADEM) and the campaign for Derek Tran.
