FQ Story Rush Hour Rally for Votes

Let’s take advantage of the captive audience of drivers during Friday afternoon rush hour. They’re slowly making their way down 7th Avenue towards the I-10 west entrance ramp. What a great opportunity to remind folks to vote! Are you finding it hard to just count down the few remaining days to Election Day? The cure is to keep making a difference. Come meet new friends on the west side of 7th Avenue between Lynwood and Willetta. Bring your favorite non-partisan sign that shares your values or simply says “vote”! There’s street parking available on Willetta and Lynwood as well. A core principle behind all Desert Democracy events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
