Final Bell: GAE Educators’ Halloween Day of Action

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3. Before the last bell of this election rings, GAE members are taking one more field trip — together, in costume — to make sure every voter has a plan. Sign up for the periods that work for you. Come for one or stay for all four. 🍎 HOMEROOM · 8:30 AM — Breakfast Send-Off GAE Headquarters, 100 Crescent Center Parkway, Suite 500, Tucker Remarks from Executive Director Dr. Craig A. Carter and President Wayne Huston, a costume parade and a group photo. Then we carpool to Duluth. 📚 1ST PERIOD · 10 AM–2 PM — Canvass Knock doors in Duluth with a priority House District 99 canvass. Training, snacks and water provided. Please also register for the canvass itself so the host can share the meet-up address: mobilize.us/gae/event/1033903 📞 2ND PERIOD · 2:30–3:30 PM — Phone Bank at GAE Headquarters 100 Crescent Center Parkway, Suite 500, Tucker Bring your phone and a charger; a laptop helps. Script and training provided. 🔔 3RD PERIOD · 3:45–4:30 PM — Final Bell Virtual Rally (Zoom) Members from across Georgia report in with door and call totals, shout-outs, a costume contest and the Election Day pledge. The Zoom link is sent after you sign up. 📲 4TH PERIOD · 4:30–5 PM — Empower Action Right after the rally, open NEA Empower and send an Election Day reminder to the colleagues, friends and family in your phone. Ten minutes from anywhere, and you're done before trick-or-treat. No experience needed. Bring a colleague who isn't a member yet: every new member counts toward our blitz goal of 300. Questions?
