About
Join Blue Turn Indivisible and a large coalition of allies in San Jose after the election to reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that every vote is counted, and duly elected officials are certified and seated. We've worked hard to make our voices heard at the ballot box. We showed up, organized, and voted for our values. Let's come together to celebrate what we've accomplished and show our resolve to defend democracy. The Trump administration has already attempted to interfere with our elections, and we have every reason to expect these efforts to escalate as votes are counted and results certified. Our communities are paying attention, and we are prepared to stand together against any attempts to overturn election results or undermine our democracy. Bring your signs, your friends, your neighbors, and your determination! In the meantime, please share our page about defending election integrity and **sign up for action alerts** so we can respond quickly if our votes or election results are threatened: https://www.indivisiblepeninsulabayarea.org/defend/ **Organized by:** Amigos de Guadalupe, Bay Resistance, Blue Turn Indivisible, CNA, DSA Silicon Valley, Indivisible Los Gatos, Indivisible Palo Alto Plus, Indivisible San Jose, OCI, PACT, Raging Grannies, Santa Clara County Democratic Party, SEIU 2015, SEIU Local 521, SIREN, South Bay Labor Council, The Wolves, Working Partnerships USA, and more. *This is a peaceful, nonviolent rally. We are committed to nonviolent action and ask everyone attending to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Please do not engage with provocateurs or counterprotesters. If tensions arise, step away, help de-escalate the situation, and seek assistance from event organizers or peacekeepers.*
