About
The election will be over by Tuesday night, but LET’S NOT LET UP! Solidarity and vigilance need to continue to fight Trump’s dastardly agenda! WHAT: Rally and March from Tacoma City Hall on Market Street to the Federal Building on Pacific (about 1 mile), featuring cultural expressions of resistance and speeches from prominent local activist organizations – including Indivisible Tacoma and Pierce County Immigration Alliance. WHEN: Wednesday, November 4, 6-8 pm WHERE: Meet at Tacoma City Hall (747 Market Street) and march en masse to the Federal Building at 1717 Pacific. WHY? The Trump administration has a history of interfering with and contesting free and fair elections. They have expressed their intentions to refuse to play by the rules. Our voices and solidarity send a clear message: THE PEOPLE ARE SPEAKING: WE’RE WATCHING! HANDS OFF OUR ELECTIONS! WHAT ELSE? Dress warm & bring a flashlight or headlamp. Bring a buddy (or a group of buddies). The security team for this event is calling it family-friendly.
