Holyoke I-91 Overpass Get Out the Vote on ELECTION DAY!

Concerned about the mid-terms? Outraged about the state of our country? TODAY IS THE DAY! Join the Holyoke Bridge Brigade to promote voting for the midterm election. Polls are open until 8pm, so the afternoon is a perfect time to remind people: VOTE! Just show up and wave at passing traffic. Flags welcome. We will provide the large signs so that drivers can see them as they pass under the overpass. Come for any length of time that works for you. How to Get There: The address "9 Mountain Park Rd, Holyoke" will get you there if you're using Waze. (Mountain Park Road runs off Route 5, and is not accessible from I-91.) People have reported that some GPS systems bring you right under the bridge, but on I-91. That’s annoying! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. We expect all participants to uphold this commitment. We recommend that all participants review our safety and security resource before the event: https://indivisi.org/safety.
